Hand-feeding formula for the hand-rearing of chicks of seed eating passerine birds in which we wish to avoid "dorée" (feather pigmentation derived from the ingestion of carotenoids and xanthophylls), during the critical first 5-7 days of life. It is an exclusive food of very high concentration and digestibility.

Its use as a support feed guarantees the survival and correct development of chicks from large broods or with parents that excessively delay the start of the feeding process.

Its fine texture allows a precise supply by means of a thin metallic needle (recommended procedure in newborns).

To prepare the hand-feeding formula, mix the product with lukewarm water at a concentration of 20-25% (texture similar to a shaken yogurt). During the first day of life and especially in the first feeding, it is advisable to give it a little more diluted. It is important to discard the leftover formula after each feeding, it should not be reused in the following feedings.

The right amount of formula to feed each chick depends on its crop capacity and its demand behavior. Feed small amounts of formula repeatedly in the mouth until the chicks are satiated and stop asking for it.

Once the package is opened, it should be stored in a hermetically sealed container in a cool, dry place.

It is not advisable to keep the product in the refrigerator. However, it is possible to freeze it, as long as it is kept in a hermetically sealed container.
